Controller Tower - Intermediate

This Controller Tower is print in place, with 4 controller mounts, and two slots for 1st generation Nintendo Switch JoyCon controllers. This model will not work with the new Nintendo Switch 2 joycons. You can use it to store and display almost any controller or headset.

For those of you that want to know what I printed this with: I used marble PLA.

After you print it, the hinges should swing freely, and you'll need to break the smaller hinges free with some pressure. You may notice some stringing inside the smaller hinges, which can be removed with some snips.

I have also included a version that has the base attached (the All-in-one) version) so you can print the whole thing in one go. It's a little less fun because it doesn't have the thread, but it's a more economical print for print sellers.

Print information: The design has floating sections to allow the hinges to print in place. Make sure you print in the same orientation I used and you will be good to go!

Printed great and is sturdy. Really solid print and I like the look of the Marble PLA!

I think the controller tower always turns out great. The only issue I ever have is the few annoying strings but that’s nothing I can’t handle cleaning up.

Printed well and works great! Only thing is that some bridging across the parts that stick out caused some filament lines to string off, they needed to be cut off.
Before I noticed the photo of laying the tower on it's side I printed this upright with tree supports. It actually came out really good and I refined my supports in the process to be a lot easier to remove. Wish I hadn't wasted all that filament though lol.

Hi! It is possible that takes more than 10 hours to make? Ty

Hi! Print time will vary from printer to printer and dependiong on your settings. So yes, it can take more than 10 hours since it is a lot of filament. On an A1, it takes around 9.5 hours for the spinning tower and around 7 for the one with the connected base.
